Olivia started her first Dance class on Tuesday. It is a Dance/Gymnastics class and she had a blast. Several of her friends are in the class including her BFF Clara ;)

It was awesome about a dozen 2 year olds in tutus...could it get any better?!

A Little Lunch and Conversation

A busy girl needs to talk on the phone whenever she has a spare second. So, during lunch today Olivia chatted with Nana. They discussed very important topics. From my end I heard the following: "Hi Nana", "ball", "Connor" or maybe "Color", "Blocks". When I told her to say "bye bye, Nana" she waved and said bye to me. Apparently, she was not ready to end the phone call :)

Oh, and in case you were wondering, Duck eats with her at every meal.

Hay Ride

It is the hottest day of the year (90 degrees!), why don't we all pile in for a hay ride? A hay ride is a good idea for the Fall, it is not ideal for summer weather. The hay sticks to your legs and the child sitting on your lap makes it even hotter! Last week, we went to Homeland Creamery, a local dairy farm to go cow spotting and eat some ice cream. Since our hay ride, Olivia keeps asking for another one, almost every day I hear "hay ride? hay ride?, cows?

Lesson learned, cows don't like H-O-T weather either, they were all hangin' in the shade so we only saw a few cows. At least the tractor kept moving and that provided a nice breeze.

Night time?

Olivia loves to sit on our bed. Our computer is currently in our bedroom so whenever she sees me sitting on the bed, she says "up, night time?" She also loves the camera. When she sees the camera she says "cheese, cheese?" and then when I take the picture she will say "more, Olivia". Which means she would like to see herself on the camera.

A Sunday in Paris

The parks in Greensboro do different events throughout the year. Yesterday, they hosted the Parisian Promenade. It was very HOT (92 degrees) and humid but we checked it out. It was fun but we missed the highlight a Poodle Parade...next year we will be sure and see the parade!
