Splish...Splash...

We are having a beautiful weekend! On Friday, we decided to cool off with Olivia's water table. You can tell that she had a blast! She was very well protected with sunscreen and bug spray...I could barely pick her up with her slipping out of my hands :)

Can't believe how much she looks like a toddler instead of a baby...crazy how fast it goes!!

She kept splashing the water and laughing when it would hit her arms and face. She was all wet...including her hair :)

Can't resist chewing on all the toys! She is cutting two more teeth on top.

Oh My Aching Back...

Poor Maddy hurt her back!

We are having a screened in deck put on the back of our house (yipee!) and they were digging holes for the hand rails and Maddy fell in the hole. The next day she seemed fine and she and Allie were playing and then she yelped and cried going down the stairs. We visited our favorite vet yesterday and she gave Maddy some pain medicine.

You can tell she is still managing to be on clean up crew during Olivia's breakfast :)

Starting her out early...

This girl LOVES chicken parmesan! I gave her the chicken and spaghetti last night and she loved it. This is the first time she tried spaghetti.

Next...spaghetti and meatballs...guess I need to get on the ball and make some homemade sauce!!

Wobble, Wobble...

Hey y'all...Guess what?

I can walk!!

Yes, that's right...I am walkin' I started on Sunday and I keep taking more and more steps! I also keep falling down but then I just crawl to what I want. I am still much faster when I crawl but you had better watch out, I will be running soon!

I am also teething so I love chewing on my rings and the strap to this gee-tar!

Alright...I have to go, it is snack time!!

PS- Do you like my hair clip? My Great-Aunt Kathy made it for me...isn't it wonderful!

Balancing Act

Olivia had her 12 month check up today! She was very happy before Dr. K came in then her mood changed. The doctor said she is learning what she wants...she kept pushing her away while she was trying to listen to her heart...of course she was crying at the same time. I don't know how the Dr. heard anything! After the exam she got 4 shots AND a finger prick...she was not a happy camper! I have never seen her so upset! She is now napping and hopefully she will feel better when she wakes up.


Olivia is officially a "little" girl. She has leveled off in terms of weight gain because she is moving all over the place and is still on the short side. The important thing is that she is well balanced...everything is around the same percentile...

Here are her stats:

Weight: 21lbs 3.5 ounces- 50th percentile (she only gained 7 ounces in 3 1/2 months!)


Height: 28 1/2 inches- 25th percentile

AND EAT IT TOO...

Olivia loved her Birthday cake. She gobbled it right up! The icing wasn't real soft so she didn't she didn't get very messy but she enjoyed it!!

Does anyone notice that there is a bear in front of me AND it is on fire!!

I LOVE my Cake! Nana and Mom decorated it and I think it turned out pretty good. It sure tasted yummy!
