Happy Birthday Nana!!!!!

Mom was going to try and ship me to you for your birthday but I didn't pass the postal inspection...maybe next year.

It is time for Olivia to start earning her keep, we put her to work last weekend.

Break time... Olivia loves to stand with both arms on the couch or chair and lean back, she looks very casual, just standing there checking things out...Sooooo cute!

How does your garden grown?

We have a garden! We planted a garden this year and it is actually growing and producing vegetables and fruit!

Will built a box for the garden and added the soil, I planted and Olivia has been keeping watch...we make a pretty good team. The only team members that have received penalties are Maddy and Allie...rumor has it they have been seen frolicking in the Melons. They may have even eaten a few and that could be why we don't have any ripe melons.

We planted squash (RIP), cucumbers, tomatoes, green bell peppers, sweet banana peppers, hot banana peppers and cantaloupes.

The squash were invaded by squash bugs so they are no longer with us...the rest are thriving in the hot North Carolina sunshine.

The cucumbers have been plentiful and once the tomatoes turn red they will be coming out of our ears! We have really enjoyed our little box garden.

Peek-A-Boo

Olivia loves to play peek-a-boo. She will put her hands over her face and take them down really fast to play peek-a-boo with you. If anyone says the magic words she starts playing. I guess Connor likes playing too...

Yeah...I like hats...

Mom discovered that I LOVE hats. Before our big trip to the beach we went to Gymboree and they had TONS of hats on sale! She bought me two and wishes she would have bought a few more. I like to wear the around the house AND out in the sun. The strap doesn't even have to be on...that is how much I like them. Hey, everyone looks good in a hat! Maybe I am preparing for a trip to the Kentuck Derby or Foxfield in the near future, I hear you can wear some awesome hats at those events!

Oh yeah...Condor likes hats too but, they have to be man hats :)

Pretty....Priddy

Have I told you what Olivia's first word is? It is "Pretty"!!

She says it when she sees anything whether it is "pretty" or not, it is really cute. So far no other words besides Mom/Mama, Daddy and something that kind of sounds like daddy or doggy when she sees the dogs.

This weekend we discovered that pillows are a great toy. Check out the pictures below for her tumbling routine. She also likes to dance and is working on some JAZZ hands, and shoulder dips.

Fab Fourth

Hanging out after the "parade"...it was a really a very short walk ;)

We have had a Fab Fourth of July and we still half of the day left...well maybe on 1/4 for me since I go to bed at 7:30! We went to a neighborhood parade and I saw a fire truck! I also had my first posicle, it was a lemonade popsicle, I ate half and Mom ate the other half! I loved walking around the parking lot and stomping my feet in the water from the fire truck hose (they sprayed water in the air so the kids could get wet).

Then we went out for lunch and to show my true patriotic side I made sure that I ordered something that would turn my face RED...I had ravioli with sauce, it was YUMMY.

I guess Mom missed some sauce on my face because Allie kept licking me...silly dog!

Wow...wonder what the rest of the day has in store...maybe some splash time outside!??

Happy 4th of July

Today we are going to our neighborhood 4th of July parade. I am going to get all dolled up in red, white and blue to celebrate this wonderful holiday! Since, I'm not dressed yet here is a refresher of how I celebrated the 4th of July last year.
