Another snow storm?!

Olivia is NOT a Snow Bunny. As a matter of fact, she hates the snow. It is a good thing that we live in the South!

Will showed her a snow ball and she cried. We asked her if she wanted to play in the snow and she screamed Nooooo.

We thought we would still give the snow a shot and bundled her up. As soon as we got outside she started to cry. We put her in a make shift sled (aka laundry basket) and she wouldn't sit down, she just cried. We snapped a few pictures and headed inside.

Olivia and I attended classes at the Little Gym during the Fall/Winter months. She loved playing and running around with the other kids. I finally remembered my camera on the last day of class. They did a little ribbon ceremony, it was really cute!

21 months!

This is my world at 21 months!

• Run Olivia Run...I am Running all over the place. I make Mommy very nervous when I run on the driveway because I still have a tendency to trip over my feet. Wonder where I get that from??
  
  



• I say lots and lots of words. Here are a few of my favorites: ga ga (which translates to bye bye), Mommy, Nana, Papa, Daddy, Allie (dog), Lulu (Lilly, the cat), Icey (DeeDee's little doggie), DeeDee, Love you, Boo, Hi, Hey, Hi ya, No No, guk (which means truck or yuck), baby, snack, nummy (eat), yummy, up up, sank you (equals thank you), puh (which means please)



• Although I am talking a lot I still do baby signs. I "say" more, all done, and drink with my signs
  


• I prefer to feed myself and I try and use a fork and spoon when I eat. Sometimes my aim is a bit off and I get a spoonful of applesauce in my eye...I don't like that very much :(
  
  
• I am very hard to photograph because I like to stand very still with a stone face and then I will say boo and laugh. Or, I will stand still far away and then run up to the camera. Both of my tricks make it very hard for Mommy to take pictures of me.

We had a few days of warm weather so we headed outside for some fun in the sun. I am glad we did because now it is cold and wet and we are stuck in the house!

S-H-O-R-T Order Cook

We all have our own cookin' style and Olivia is no exception. I have been giving her some tips on how to cook with her utensils and to sample the food as you go. This has resulted in samples for Mom too! I will be cooking in my kitchen and Olivia will bring me a bite that she has whipped up, sometimes it is an odd combination like a red pepper and grapes.

Usually, she will bring me matching items. Two bunches of grapes, two hot dogs, two peppers, she already likes the matching game!

PS- The paparazzi hit Greensboro a few days ago so expect frequent blog posts!

Twenty- Six

It is 26 degrees here this morning! 26 degrees??!!! I can't believe how cold it has been. It is cold and windy which makes it feel like 18 degrees. I know that is probably warm compared to my friends and family in NY but 26 degrees is darn cold for North Carolina!

Olivia doesn't like the cold...you can tell that she wasn't overly thrilled with the cold temps when we were in NY
