Olivia didn't want to get dirty! Some quality time with Aunt Shauna was way more fun!

Swimming for doughnuts

Olivia is taking swim lessons. Swim lessons where I leave her for 30 minutes with the teacher and 3 other kids. I should clarify, swim lessons where I leave her for 30 minutes hysterically crying mommy, mommy..., with three other kids who are usually doing the same thing.

She has had 3 lessons, the first one went really well, number 2 not so much...and this one, number 3 was the worse one yet. I am hoping #4 will be the lucky one. She talks about it in a positive way when she is not in the water but she does not enjoy getting ready to head to her lesson.

I thought a little Krispy Kreme would sweeten the idea of swim lessons a bit for Olivia. I think it might have worked!

Papa Time

Hey there smiley...talking to Jackson...not you dad ;)


All three of the kiddos. They all loved spending time with their Papa. I am pretty sure Connor said "Papa, papa" close to 1,000 times!

Yup, I made that! And, I am pretty darn proud of it! I have made her lots of dresses in different styles but this is the first top i have made with sleeves and sleeves are kind of tricky.

Happy Mardi Gras

We celebrate in style!

Olivia loved every part, the delicious cinnamon and sugar filled iced dessert, Mardi gras beads and coins!

An angel

We read books every night before bed. We have been reading "a snowy day" and when Olivia sees Peter making a snow angel, she always says "like me".

She attempted one snow angel during our great snow fall on christmas day. The effort was of course fully documented in pictures!

This was super fun but we are glad the snow is all gone! Believe it or not, the trees are flowering here...so spring must be on the horizon! (fingers crossed we do not get a strange snow fall mid March!)
